Life can be challenging and It helps to talk to someone. You might wonder if therapy can help or  might feel a little embarrassed to even consider it. However, everyone at some point in their lives can benefit from professional therapy. I will provide a listening ear free from judgment, and help you understand and cope with your emotional obstacles, and rediscover your strengths and purpose. You deserve joy in your life and I would simply ask for just
15-minutes for a free phone chat, to see if you feel that I am equipped to help you escape, heal, and avoid those emotionally dark places.

I'm Tamara Newton, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional in the State of Georgia. I believe in strong family values, who keeps God as the center of my life. Hello, I’m Lowell your Professional Behavioral Intervention Specialist (PBIS)

Teens nowadays experience many emotional challenges, from trying to fit in with their peers, wanting to be accepted and liked on social media platforms, to just simply understanding and respecting authority figures at home and school. In addition to these stressors, teens may also be triggered by family discord, traumatic world events, Covid-19 events, and academic upkeep and challenges. These stressors can manifest as poor behavioral changes, decreased cognitive ability, carelessness, and poor self-esteem. Thus, they will need to rediscover their strengths, feel a sense of self-validation, and learn new positive coping self-empowerment skills, that will allow them to navigate life’s everchanging challenges.

I’m Lowell Newton, a Professional Behavioral Intervention Specialist. I earned a Diploma in Surgical Services at Southern Crescent Technical College in Griffin GA, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services at Shorter University in Rome GA. I have 15 years of Atlanta Public Schools experience teaching and working with children of various backgrounds and cultures, that often make poor choices at home and school. I currently work as a staff Family Behavioral Support Specialist which helps families utilize calm and productive conflict resolution strategies. I'll help you teen process how to make positive well-thought out decisions to help them become well balanced adults.

A Special Message of Faith and Hope
NB Adreach.jpg
Your situation might feel grim, dark, and overwhelming, and you've lost all faith in seeing a future of better days. But faith is the prerequisite to any hope of healing. Just like your natural body has suffered a scraped knee, a twisted ankle, or a soar throat, you had the faith your body would heal within a matter of time, in which it did. Thus, your mind is the most important function of your body. So you must make the crucial effort to seek professional help along with faith and hope, that you can and will overcome emotional obstacles in your life. Moreover, many people that are stricken with terminal illness put up the toughest fight, seeking new medical treatments, professional advice, and are emotionally encouraged by family and friends. They'll do anything to allow just one extra day of their terminal life, because they want to stay around to enjoy the miracle and joy of living. Hence, if you or someone you know are in a dark cave of hopelessness, and are facing a suicidal crisis, reach out for help by texting HOME To 741741 or dialing The Georgia National Mental Health Line at 988. And remember, there's never a good enough reason for you not to be around to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
